1 - How to do an Airdrop on Coinvise

Note: Before starting, make sure to have a Crypto Wallet and enough Ethereum ($ETH) to pay for the transactions (there are some network fees associated with doing airdrops).

Go on Coinvise.co and click the Create Token button. đ
Click the "Connect Wallet" button and follow the instruction. If you don't have a Wallet or don't know how to connect it, here's a complete tutorial. đ
Click the "Airdrop" button (highlighted in red below).
Starting from here, you'll have 4 options:
- Repeat past airdrops (ideal for routine operations)
- Send token to a wallet list (Ideal for established communities paying contributors)
- Send tokens via unique link (Ideal for new communities & to bring awareness)
- Airdrop NFTs
Feel free to go directly to the section that you think might make the most sense for your needs.
Option 1 - Repeat Past Airdrops

If youâve already created airdrops, youâll see them appear in a drop-down list similar to the one in the image below. Simply click on the âRepeatâ button next to the one youâd like to proceed again.

We will ask you to âConfirm repeatâ. If everything looks good to you, validate the transaction in your wallet and weâll send the tokens to the recipients. It's that easy â¨
Option 2 - Send by Unique Link

If you don't want to repeat a past airdrop, simply click on create airdrop at the bottom of the page.

From here, click on the âBy unique linkâ option as shown below.

Hereâs where it becomes interesting.
1. Select the Token you want to Airdrop
2. Write the number of tokens you want to send per recipient.
3. Write the number of max. recipients that can claim the tokens
Note: If you decide to send 555 tokens per person to 25 recipients - you'll send 555x25=13875 tokens total.
4. Choose an airdrop title. Try to find a title that makes recipients understand what this airdrop is all about and why they should claim it.
5. Write a description.
6. Click next.

From there, you have the option to set conditions for claiming airdrops. Concretely, this means you can allow only people with certain tokens, NFTs or POAPs to claim your token. You can also create an allowlist and upload the .csv file here.
You can select if you want people to match âallâ or âanyâ conditions to claim your tokens.

The airdrop process is a two steps process. First, click on âapprove X tokensâ and validate the transaction in your wallet. Then, come back on Coinvise, click on âcreate airdropâ and validate the new transaction in your wallet again.

Congrats, you can now share the unique link with your community for members to claim. When members will click on the unique link youâve just created, theyâll see something similar to the image below.
Note: To claim their tokens, recipients will need a Coinvise account and a crypto wallet. Option 3: Send to a Wallet List

If you don't want to repeat a past airdrop, simply click on create airdrop at the bottom of the page.

From here, click on the âBy unique linkâ option as shown below.

Hereâs where it becomes interesting.

2. Choose an airdrop title. Try to find a title that makes recipients understand what this airdrop is all about and why they should claim it.
3. Copy/paste your .csv file with the amount of tokens per recipient.
Note: We suggest to create a sheet with 2 column - 1 with the wallet addresses & 1 with the amount per recipient. Export this file as a .csv and copy/paste it here. The format may be âWallet address, number of tokenâ.
4. Write a description.
5. Click next.

Congrats, the recipients should receive their tokens very soon. You can check out the status of your Airdrop by checking the transaction directly on Etherscan.
Option 4: Airdropping NFTs

Click on the âAirdrop" button from your dashboard, as highlighted in red below.

Select âNFT Airdropâ - the third option and your screen.
From here, select the NFT collection from which the NFT you want to airdrop is part of. In the example below, we selected the Bored Ape Yacht Club.

If youâre looking to airdrop a single NFT, fill out the recipient address, select the token ID (meaning the specific NFT you want to airdrop from the collection), then click on the âAddâ button.

If youâre looking to airdrop multiple editions, you can click on the âImport Wallet Addresses and IDsâ to do just that.

Once youâve selected the NFTs you want to airdrop as well as the recipients, youâll see a preview of your airdrop, as shown in the example below.
Once ready, simply click on the âNextâ button, highlighted in red below.

In order to make the airdrop, you need to authorize Coinvise to access the NFTs you want to send. Click on the button, as highlighted in red below.

Validate the transaction in your wallet.

You can now click on the âCreate NFT Airdropâ.

2 - How can your members their tokens?
On Coinvise, Communities & Creators can reward their members by creating a unique claimable link. If you received one of these links, you might wonder how to claim your tokens.. well, search no more. Hereâs how to do it đ
2.1 - How to claim an Airdrop on Coinvise for the first time?
At Coinvise, we believe that the âclaimable airdropsâ are the best way for creators to reward community members and for members to show their loyalty and interest by coming and claiming the tokens. At the end of this tutorial, community members will know how to claim an airdrop created by their favorite communities/creators đ¤

Once on the claimable page, click the âConnect Walletâ button at the center of your screen.

Click the âConnect Walletâ button.

From here, select the wallet you would like to sign up with. Again, if you donât have a wallet, hereâs how to create one. đ
Authorize Coinvise to connect to your wallet by accepting the transaction in your wallet. If youâre on metamask, you should see a pop-up appear, similar to the one below. If youâre on Rainbow, open the app from your mobile and validate the transaction.

Awesome - youâre now connected to Coinvise. You can now check your eligibility to claim this airdrop. To do so, click on the âCheck eligibilityâ button.

When clicking the âCheck eligibilityâ button, Coinvise will verify you have the right to claim this airdrop, and will then let you click on the âClaim Airdropâ button.

Click on the âClaim Airdropâ button, and validate the transaction in your wallet.
2.2 - Claim an Airdrop if you already have a Coinvise account

When connected to Coinvise, check your eligibility to claim the airdrop. To do so, click on the âCheck eligibilityâ button.

When clicking the âCheck eligibilityâ button, Coinvise will verify you have the rights to claim this airdrop, and will then let you click on the âClaim Airdropâ button.

Click on the âClaim Airdropâ button, and validate the transaction in your wallet.

Congrats, youâll see appear your new tokens in your wallet shortly.
3 - What can an Airdrop help me achieve?
The Airdrop Tool allows you to:
- Reward your contributors for the work they've put in your project.
- Bring awareness around your project by sending tokens to people in your Network.
- Send tokens to allow members to access token-gated contents.
4 - Things to know before sending your Tokens (doing an Airdrop).
Every time you're going to do an Airdrop, you'll have to pay Gas Fees. Gas Fees are like tips for people securing your transactions. As many people want to do transactions simultaneously, you might have to pay a decent amount of money to validate your transaction. To give you an idea, in September 2021, it cost me $1200 to send my tokens to ~300 people.
If you want to avoid Gas Fees, you can bridge some of your Tokens to a Layer 2 Blockchain, meaning sending your tokens through another blockchain with more transactions/sec capabilities. You can do it using the Bridge tool on Coinvise (from the Dashboard, scroll down and click the "Bridge" button".
