On Tuesday, Bethesda revealed a partnership with LucasFilm Games via a short teaser video of a new game in the Indiana Jones franchise.

The upcoming title, said to have an original story, will be developed by Wolfenstein: The New Colossus’ studio MachineGames. The announcement was first teased in a 30-second Twitter video revealing the companies involved, with a Tweet five minutes later confirming the announcement.

“A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development from our studio @MachineGames, and will be executive produced by [Bethesda head] Todd Howard in collaboration with @LucasfilmGames,” the studio tweeted. “It'll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news!”

The announcement comes one day after LucasFilm Games’ rebrand was announced on StarWars.com. The rebrand reveal teased future projects, but gave no specifics other than a new logo and social media sites.

The new title marks the first video game adventure for Indiana Jones since 2008’s Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues on the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii. Notable games in the franchise include the classic point-and-click adventures 1992’s Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and 1989’s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure, as well as 2003’s Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb.
